Objective(s): (1) Aerial surveys on murre and beluga whale movement - eastern Hudson Strait and southeast Davis Strait. (2) Bird and mammal observations to determine species and abundance - to be conducted on the ESSO Sedco 709 rig and the Aquitaine rig located in southeast Davis Strait. (3) Technical assistance will be offered to a local group of people in Frobisher Bay undertaking a seal and walrus survey.
