Project Description: The objective of this project is to conduct ongoing monitoring and assessment programs, including areas in the Mackenzie River Special Management Zone (SMZ), for surface water. Surface water samples will be collected from selected lakes, ponds, rivers, and streams. Selected water bodies in EL470 have already undergone bathymetric assessment and sampling. ConocoPhillips will communicate, in writing, to the Local and District Land Corporations and Renewable Resources Councils for dissemination within the communities of Tulita and Norman Wells. Written communications will include a debrief of the prior year's field program(s) and any planned program(s) for the following year. Team members will be available to respond to questions by telephone or email. The fieldwork for this study will be conducted from June 15, 2017 to September 15, 2017
