Objective(s): To complete detailed site investigations to determine environmental and physical conditions at five sites.
Project Description: The objective of this study is to complete detailed site investigations at each location (5 in total) to determine environmental and physical conditions. This will include the identification and quantification of environmental impacts in soil, sediment, surface water and groundwater, and the identification of any hazardous or non-hazardous materials left on site. Columbia personnel will follow all prescribed INAC methodologies, Health and Safety requirements, and sampling protocols. The following activities will take place at the sites: Soil Sampling, Sediment Sampling, Surface Water Sampling, Groundwater Sampling, Rock Sampling, and Building Material Sampling. Sample amounts are ~250mL. All samples will be collected with shovels, hand augers, and battery powered pumps in laboratory supplied jars, plastic bottles, and bags.
