Objective(s): An aquatic survey will be conducted to characterize the current conditions of water bodies adjacent to the Tundra mine and downstream of the mine's two tailings ponds. The terrestrial field investigations will include identifying wildlife species that may come in contact with the mine site, conducting a landcover classification, and soil, lichen and vascular plant sample collection. Information collected will be used to plan the reclamation of the Tundra Mine Site, and to monitor changes to the environment following reclamation.
