Objective(s): This project is being carried out as a part of the academic requirements for completion of a Master's degree in Tourism Management. The overall goal of the project is to examine the various factors which motivate tourists to select locations in the Canadian Arctic, such as Inuvik, as a travel destination.
Project Description: The overall goal of the project is to examine the various factors which motivate tourists to select locations Canadian Arctic, such as Inuvik, as a travel destination. The researcher will be interviewing tourists traveling to Inuvik. A questionnaire form and/or a personal interview will be used to ask questions about their visit to the Northwest Territories. All participants will have the objectives and goals of the project explained to them by the researcher and be given a consent form. All responses will be kept confidential. The number of tourists interviewed should be between 100 and 200 individuals.
