Objective(s): A comparison will be made between Inuvik's Community Conservation Plan (CCP) and southern case study (Twins Sisters) to determine: if similarities exist; if CCP implementation in the south is feasible; and, can CCP process teach First Nations in the south about about co-management.

Project Description: The researcher will conduct interviews with the working group who participated in the Community Conservation Plan (CCP) process in Inuvik. This data will be compared with data gathered through interviews with those involved in the emerging co-management dialogue within Treaty 8 Territory in northern British Columbia. Direct examination of supporting documentation will also be undertaken.
