Objectif(s): The purpose of this experiment is to measure the cosmic ray all-particle spectrum and search for deviations from the power law shape, and to measure the elemental spectra of cosmic rays in high energies.

Description du projet: The purpose of the campaign is twofold. The first is to fly research instrumentation aboard large scale scientific balloons to measure Cosmic Ray particles entering the earth's atmosphere. The second is to conduct a demonstration flight of newly developed long duration balloon systems for the LDB program. The northern latitudes are desired because of favourable geomagnetic influences on particles and improved altitude performance due to extended daylight.
