Objective(s): To design an effective and effiecient service delivery model that will offer equal and accessible service delivery to blind and visually impaired Aboriginal people that is consistent with their belief system; and to provide guidelines for the development of an action plan to improve these services.

Project Description: The research team will collect data for this study through questionnaires and review of relative literature and documents. Questionnaires will be completed by community members respresentatives: Band Council designees, Band members, and or the Hay River Metis Association who experience visual problems. The communities involved include: Hay River - Town and Reserve, Kakisa Lake, and Fort Providence.
