Objective(s): To examine relevant wildlife policies for Nunavut to assess stress points regarding their ability to respond to climatic variations; and to recommend policy changes and addendums to enhance the resiliency of Northern legislative procedures.

Project Description: The researcher will conduct interviews in several communities The intent of these interviews is to determine current and predicted soci-economic consequences of climate-imposed variations in wildlife habitat and to discuss with policy makers the necessary steps required to ensure that negative socio-economic consequences be minimized through effective and flexible wildlife policies in Nunavut.
