Objective(s): To continue the 1993 study to provide baseline information on fish, benthic invertebrates, plankton and water quality in the lakes and streams of the Thonokeid Lake area; to assess for the presence of heavy metal contaminants in the muscle and liver of fish.
Project Description: The researchers will continue their study on fish and other aquatic organisms found in lakes and streams of the Thonokeid Lake area. Muscle and liver tissues of fish will be taken in order to assess levels of heavy metals. In addition, water chemistry data will be collected.
