Objective(s): To obtain the salary and benefits paid by various public sector employers in the Northwest Territories for specific job positions; to obtain an overall picture of public sector and public service market wage rate for specific positions.
Project Description: A wage and benefits survey will be conducted for 200 NWT community organizations which currently receive funding from the GNWT. The data will be collected through personal interviews of employers and, in some cases, through telephone interviews using a structured questionnaire. Data collected by Lutra Associates Ltd. will be handed over to the Financial Management Board Secretariat (GNWT) for analysis and write-up. Results will be made public.
