Project Description: The researcher will continue his study on the different types of economy present in Kitikmeot communities: the traditional econony derived from hunting, fishing and trapping, and the wage economy. This study examines the sources of cash income, particularly those derived from seasonal, part-time and rotational employment. The study's results may identify trends in wage-labour employment and a strategy for planning immediate/near-future economic opportunities.
