Objective(s): To determine the pressure and temperature conditions of metamorphism which created the metamorphic rocks near Ghost Lake; to provide insight into the types and nature of processess that were responsible for the assemblage and evolution of the Slave Province.
Project Description: We will be examining the metamorphic rocks (which belong to the geologic area termed the Slave Province) located near Ghost Lake. The information and samples collected will help to determine the types of geological events and processes which created the metamorphic rocks of the region.
