Objective(s): To conduct archaeological surveys in the area of Kanghiryuak (Prince Albert Sound) where no systematic archaeological research has yet been undertaken; to inventory all archaeological features encountered on the islands and along the coast during the survey on foot.

Project Description: The researcher will be surveying the area of Kanghiryuak (Prince Albert Sound) on Victoria Island in order to identify archaeological features that are evident on the ground's surface. All surveying will be conducted on foot and site excavations are not planned. The study is intended to provide basic archaeolgical information on an area not previously studied.
