Objective(s): To conduct an archaeological excavation of approximately 40 square metres on Kodlunarn Island in order to further our understanding of the Frobisher voyages and their influence on Inuit of the region; to map archaeological features of the area.

Project Description: The researcher will conduct archaeological research on Kodlunarn Island in order to better understand the Frobisher voyages. Excavation at the Frobisher base camp will provide information on the nature of these voyages as well as their influence on Inuit of the region.
