Objective(s): To continue gathering information from Iglulingmiut on arctic celestial and atmospheric phenomena including associated terminologies, mythologies and legends. Inuit star and constellation names will be linked to the European equivalents. An examination of the Inuit lunar calendar and the role of stars in the determination of seasonal time will also be undertaken.

Inuit star and constellation names will be linked to the European equivalents. The Inuit lunar calendar and the role of stars in the determination of seasonal times will also be examined. The project is expected to be completed this year.
