Objective(s): To draw genealogies and identification of people in 1920's photographs; to engage in the interpretation of photographs by people in the community; to obtain a comparative set of photos.
Project Description: The researcher will attempt the identification of individuals in photos of the Lake Harbour community in Baffin Island, circa 1912. Through interviews with the present community, the researcher will identify individuals in the photos, and develop an understanding of the historical-cultural context of them to form a conclusive analysis of the photos.
