Objective(s): To obtain information on population parameters and distribution/migration patterns of the Tugaat River Arctic char stock;
Project Description: The researcher and her team will build a conduct fish weir and trap across the Tugaat River in order to enumerate and sample the upstream run of Arctic char into the Tugaat River. They will enumerate all fish passing upstream; tag 3000-5000 fish with anchor tags; dead sample a size range of 100 to 200 fish, and live sample 2000 to 3000 fish.
