Objective(s): To understand the terrestrial hydrological pathways of water draining into surface streams, rivers and lakes in the high arctic; to understand the vadose and phreatic zone dynamics in the seasonal active layer; to quantify the geochemical reactions within the groundwater;

Project Description: The researcher and his team will attempt to understand the terrestrial hydrological pathways of water draining into surface streams, rivers and lakes in the high arctic. As well, they will attempt to understand the vadose and phreatic zone dynamics in the seasonal active layer, and quantify the geochemical reactions within the groundwater.
