Objective(s): To collect Bouguer gravity anomaly data.
Project Description: This project will gather gravity data to help complete the National Gravity Data Base of Canada. This data base defines gravity anomalies (abnormalities) throughout the entire country. At the present time the data base lacks data for two large areas only -- all of Ellesmere Island and an area extending from the Alaska border to the Mackenzie River, south of the 64th parallel.
