Objective(s): To measure the horizontal deformation of sea ice on scales of 10 to 100 km in the southern Beaufort Sea; to map the underside of ridged sea ice in the southern Beaufort Sea;
Project Description: The Researcher and team will deploy an array to nine ARGOS drift buoys over the period of March to May. A small remote submersible equipped with upward looking sonar will be used in the operation.
