Objective(s): To determine the spectral response of arctic surfaces; to test the hypothesis that data from orbiting satellites can be used to detect, map and monitor High Arctic plant communities;
Project Description: The Researcher will carry out fieldwork in association with Dr. Cheryl M. Pearce. The study will investigate if the the response of arctic surfaces to climate changes can be detected, monitored and mapped using space imagery.
