Objective(s): To test equipment that will be used during the Weber-Malakhov North Pole Round Trip Expedition 1991; to gather preliminary data on sleep-wake rhythms, core body temperature and performance under conditions of extreme cold, physical exhaustion and variable light-dark cycles; to train the polar trek participants to self-apply electrodes; to conduct performance testing in the field;

Project Description: The Researcher will train 4 polar trekkers on performance tests and how to apply an electrocap (electrodes housed in a mesh cap). The participants will apply these techniques as they engage in a practice trek around the Iqaluit area.
