Objective(s): To investigate the differences and/or similarities of the fatty acid composition of various tissues in Arctic marine aquatic organisms; to compare them to their temperate counterparts;

Project Description: The Researcher will collect blood/hemolymph and tissues from representative Arctic marine fish, echinoderm, crustacean and mollusc species. The fish will be netted and the invertebrates dredged. Samples will be analyzed for their fatty acid composition. A sample size of 6-8 individuals will be required from each species.
