Objective(s): To meet with MLA's for the Mackenzie Valley especially representatives for Fort Simpson and Fort Good Hope, Dene leaders, GNWT Government Leader, local community chiefs and council members to determine what method would best serve each community's need for self-government;

Project Description: The Researcher will conduct informal discussions and interviews with people in all levels of government specifically Native involvement at the Territorial and Community level. The interviews will discuss methods that would best serve each community's need for self government.
