Objective(s): To collect samples of fresh beluga whales from the Arctic to perform histopathology; to collect data on the anatomy, specifically the uro-genital system;
Project Description: Dr. De Guise and his assistant, with the co-operation of the Hunters and Trappers Association, will accompany the beluga hunt. Samples of organs will be collected and saved in formalin for further examination at the Unviversity of Montreal.
