Objective(s): To continue work begun in 1973 by Robert M. West and Mary Dawson involving the biostratigraphy and paleontology of the Eureka Sound formation; to assemble a paleomagnetic sequence from a long section first examined in 1979; to examine the megaflora sequence;

Project Description: The Researcher and team will collect and examine fossil materials which will then be deposited with the National Museum of Canada and the Geological Survey of Canada. This is a continuation of a study begun in 1973 by R. West and M. Dawson involving the biostratigraphy and paleontology of the Eureka Sound Formation.
