Objective(s): To provide improved (mesoscale) resolution of climate and climatic influences, with application to describing and predicting environmental changes in the region in relation to trends in global climate;
Project Description: The Researcher and his team will continue a study which examines the local environments of the interior of Baffin Island to see how the climate and vegetation have responded during times of great change in the earth's climate, such as at the end of the last ice age and the warmer period that followed.
