Project Description: The Researcher will investigate the origin of the arcuate embayment along the east coast of Hudson Bay from Cape Jones to Inujjuaq. The brittle fractures and faults in the bedrock surrounding the Nastapoka Arc will be examined from LANDSAT satellite imagery. Some features will be examined in the field to determine their origin and relationship (if any) to the tectonic events which produced the circular arc structure.
