Objective(s): To determine whether the ovary of the flower fixes enough carbon on its own for seed development; to determine whether the corolla confers an energy benefit to the developing fruit;

Project Description: The Researcher will supply Carbon-14 to leaves and flowers of the Arctic Poppy. The plants will be harvested and parts treated to determine where the carbon was allocated.
