Objective(s): To examine and explore various aspects of the aboriginal land claim of the Inuit of the Eastern and Central Arctic; to examine and explore the potential formation of a third territory resulting from the division of the present day N.W.T. into Denendeh and Nunavut;
Project Description: The Researcher will focus on an overview of the ecology, history, culture, socio-economy and politics of the Eastern Arctic.
