Objectif(s): To observe and evaluate the use of southern Canadian news reporting techniques in the cultural context of northern Canada
Description du projet: Ms. Schutta will interview southern trained news gatherers and disseminators, i.e. television and radio news programme hosts, newspaper, television and radio news reporters and members of the native community. Interviews will focus on the applicability of southern ideas of what constitutes news in the context of northern culture.
