Objective(s): To document and analyze the domestic economy and the social interaction within and between households; to document and analyze how this economy interacts with the wage economy; to write a general ethnography of the Trout Lake people incorporating the socio-economic data and recording such information as life histories, genealogies, stories, place names and trational knowledge and values; to speak and write South Slavey.

Project Description: The Researcher will live in the community of Trout Lake for 14 months. During that time, she will write a general ethnography of the Trout Lake people with a particular emphasis on the economy and the social networks within the community.
