Objective(s): To develop a low-power UHF digital radio system; to provide backup communications for the North Warning System; to investigate UHF radio propagation in the western arctic;
Project Description: The Researcher will install digital radio repeaters at several sites, monitor the signal strength; measure the accuracy of data transmission over the link; and establish the feasibility of the prototype design.
