Objective(s): To gather information from ex-TB patients for a book on the TB epidemic among the Inuit during the 1940's to 1960's by a) gathering material through an Inuktitut-language questionnaire survey, b) to gather material through a school writing project;

Project Description: Ms. Grygier will gather information on the TB epidemic among the Inuit during the 1940's to 1960's by means of a questionnaire. These will be administered by senior high school students who will conduct interviews with elders in Inuktitut and translate their stories into English. Ms. Grygier will use the information to write an historical account of the TB epidemic.
