Objective(s): to review the content of the database (from July 1986 - July 1989); to identify sources of error, inaccuracies; to implement changes to ensure the database remains of high quality; to determine the rates and trends of sexually transmitted diseases in the N.W.T.; to relate trends in sexually transmitted diseases to public education campaigns on safer sexual behavior;
Project Description: In accordance with the Communicable Disease Regulations under the Public Health Act, the researcher will review and update the existing database on sexually transmitted diseases in the Northwest Territories.
