Objectif(s): To record occurrence and types of plastic drift items along the Beaufort Coast; to compare with previous surveys to provide information for developing strategies to minimize plastic garbage in the marine environment;

Description du projet: The Researcher using a helicopter will travel from the Alaska border to the end of the Tuk peninsula. They will survey the Beaufort Coast for plastic drift waste and report on the types, density and distribution of plastic items along the coast.
