Objectif(s): To continue quantifying environmental impacts from surface disturbance by conducting gemorphological, pedological, microclimatological, hydrological, botanical and small mammal studies on the site; to evaluate reclamation test treatments; and to develop models to predict results of surface disturbances and reclamation treatments.

Description du projet: Dr. Peter Kershaw and his team will continue his work, begun in 1985, to assess and monitor the environmental characteristics of disburbed and undisturbed forest areas, in relation to revegetation and rehabilitation of pipeline corridors. His work will test impacts from northern crude oil spills.
