Objectif(s): to investigate issues affecting women in the North from a woman's perspective; to provide northern women with reference materials for issues affecting them; and, to make those outside the North aware of experiences of northern women
Description du projet: Mary Crnkovitch's assistant, Angela Bernal, is completing the interviews required to produce a book on issues facing northern women. The book will cover topics ranging from giving birth, to women in politics, to special social problems such as family violence. The book should be published in the fall by the Canadian Arctic Resources Committee (CARC) in Ottawa.
