Objectif(s): To continue quantifying environmental impacts from surface disturbance by conducting gemorphological, pedological, microclimatological, hydrological, botanical and small mammal studies on the site; to evaluate reclamation test treatments; and to develop models to predict results of surface disturbances and reclamation treatments.

Description du projet: Over the past several years, Dr. Kershaw has been trying to find out the best way to make the plants grow back after they have been removed to build a pipeline. He is also looking at ways to keep permafrost areas from melting if the insulating plant cover is removed.
