Description du projet: The objective of this survey is to provide conclusive evidence of fish presence/absence and additional stream flow assessments. Fish will be captured using various techniques. All fish will be held for short duration in a live well, until they have recovered from stress. Biological information such as length, weight, species and health will be collected, and fish will be then be returned to the environment. If individual fish are unable to recover from stress or injury, field staff will euthanize individuals and dispose of them appropriately. A report will be written that can be referenced for future projects of this type. The report will be submitted the the Department of Transportation, Government of the Northwest Territories. The study will be conducted between June 23rd and September 15th at Hill Creek at the Highway 3 crossing (62°44'08.9"N, 115°41'39.8"W), about 25 km SE of Rae and 75 km NW of Yellowknife, 2 km east of Stagg river.
