Objectif(s): To study traditional and contemporary Inuit folklore and mythology, and how people represent interpersonal relationships in myth and folklore; to collect a variety of narratives and the native explanation of these narratives in order to examine how Inuit perceive society.

Description du projet: The researcher will be collecting information on Inuit folklore and mythology from Iqaluit residents. This information will be used to determine how interpersonal relationships and society are represented in folklore and mythology. This study will result in a comprehensive collection of local Inuit stories which will be provided to the community.
