Objectif(s): To continue frost action studies and related Quaternary investigations on Cornwallis Island, NWT.
Description du projet: The researcher will continue the long-term investigation of how the landscape has changed since the glaciers left 10 000 years ago. In particular, this study is examining the effects of frost and permafrost on the landscape. The researcher will be returning to several sites visited in previous years in order to check earlier observations.
