Objectif(s): To study the minerology and petrology of the CALI/LICA albitespodumene pegmatites found north of Tungsten in the Selwyn Mountains of the NWT.

Description du projet: Rare elements such as lithium (Li), beryllium (Be), rubidium (Rb), niobium (Nb), cesium (Cs) and tantalum (Ta) are commonly found in structures known as pegmatites. The researchers will document the western Canadian locations of pegmatites which have these important minerals. Included in this survey is the pegmatite located in the Selwyn Mountains of the NWT.
