Objectif(s): To assess the viability of a fishery on the resource; to obtain biological data from all species caught during the fishery.
Description du projet: Three crews of two people each will be stationed at the commercial fishing camps to obtain biological and catch effort data from the fisherman. A supervisor will oversee the project in the field and set some experimental nets in the vicinity of the commercial nets at one of the camps. A minimum of 200 whitefish samples will be obtained from the fishermen's catch.
