Objectif(s): To conduct reconnaissance of fluvial geomorphic features at Lousy and Swimming Points.
Description du projet: If an oil and gas pipeline is constructed that extends from the Mackenzie Delta to the south, the pipeline will likely cross the East Channel at either Lousy or Swimming Points. Both of these sites have been studied in the past, but little detailed information has been collected on the physical features of these sites. Data will be collected on the features of these sites, including a survey of river bank forms and old river channels.
