Objectif(s): To assist in developing a territorial network for women with disabilities; to provide advocacy skills so that women with disablilities can speak for themselves. Confidentiality of participants will be maintained by keeping the mailing list and the survey form separate. In addition, confidentiality will be maintained in the final report by ensuring that information will not be summarized in a fashion that inadvertantly identifies individuals.
Description du projet: The NWT Council for Disabled Persons will contact NWT Women's Groups and community representatives to develop contact lists for women with disabilities. In addition, the Council will develop and distribute a survey that helps to identify issues and concerns for women with disabilities. These issues will be summarized and recommendations will be made in light of these issues.
