Objectif(s): To measure the magnetic field fluctuations caused by ionospheric electric currents associated with the aurora;

Description du projet: The researcher and his team will install magnetometers, instruments that passively measure the earth's magnetic field, at four sites. The MACCS project is part of a large international campaign to better understand the transfer of energy from the sun, via the solar wind, to the eath's magnetosphere and ionosphere.
