Objectif(s): To look for and collect fossil fish and related vertebrates from deposits related to the Axel Heiberg fossil forests of Early Tertiary age; to examine and describe these fossils in collaboration with specialists working on other aspects of the Fossil Forest flora and fauna;
Description du projet: The researcher and his team will look for bones of fishes, reptiles and mammals that can help us understand better the kinds of environments that were present in the Arctic between 70 and 45 million years ago.
