Objectif(s): To survey beach morphological changes, to measure rates of coastal erosion and deposition, to monitor bathymetric variations in the nearshore zone, to measure waves and currents in the nearshore zone and lagoons, to collect information on nearshore sediment transport, to collect stratigraphic and sedimentologic data on nearshore and coastal deposits, to examine the geohazards related to waves and storm surges;
Description du projet: The researcher and his team will survey beach profiles using an electronic level, survey shallow lagoons and nearshore zones, collect nearshore sediment samples and deploy current meters in the nearshore zone and in a shallow lagoon.
